About Westcoast Auto Sales:
Westcoast Auto Sales is Southern California’s top dealership for high-quality pre-owned vehicles. We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Car Detailer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering a pristine finish on every vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exterior Detailing: Perform full exterior washing, waxing, buffing, and polishing to achieve showroom-level finishes. Remove contaminants like tar and grime using specialized cleaning products.
- Interior Detailing: Deep clean and sanitize vehicle interiors, including vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and treating leather and upholstery.
- Paint Correction & Protection: Conduct scratch removal, paint touch-ups, and apply protective coatings to ensure long-lasting shine and protection.
- Pre and Post-Detail Inspections: Ensure all vehicles meet Westcoast Auto's high standards before and after detailing.
- Maintenance of Tools & Materials: Maintain detailing equipment and products, ensuring they are in good working condition at all times.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and service departments to prioritize and expedite vehicle detailing as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of Professional Experience: Proven success in automotive detailing, demonstrating advanced skills in both interior and exterior cleaning and restoration techniques.
- Strong Attention to Detail: A perfectionist's eye for spotting imperfections and fixing them to the highest standard.
- Expert Knowledge of Products & Techniques: Familiarity with modern tools, cleaning agents, and paint correction methods, with a dedication to using the best practices in the industry.
- Physical Endurance: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting throughout the day.
